Our team have tried multiple free GPS management programs and have found the best to be Garmin's Basecamp™. We provide only GPX downloads that have been tested on both Garmin's Basecamp™ and multiple fish finders. Other programs like ActiveCaptain™ could cause a variation in icon consistency as some may not be supported by the other programs. All the programs will allow you to search the database for information pertinent to planning your fishing trip.
